So I wore a white sweater with my tweedy (that's the descriptor I'm going with) black and white shirt and the bright pink pumps to Happy Hour. It was pretty darn fun but there were so mny Terps there it was like a dressed up Cornerstone. To class I wore some jeans and purple stripey shirt. And today dear reader I am wearing a gray fited hoodie with an apple print and a red tank top underneath. on the tootsies are my trusty black patent maryjanes. Same jeans as yesterday because I didn't feel like lugging around another pair as I spent the night at a homie's apartment, don't judge me they're stil clean.
I really hate school but I don't wnt to have t get a "real" job. The only part I am looking forward to is dressing up. I enjoy business attire. Isn't that sad?! At my new favoritest store, Value Villae, I always check the skirts and dresses because in my head I need to start building my work wardrobe now. Who cares if I won't be working until June at the earliest. At any rate I always find great stuff there and I am sure Clinton and Stacie would be proud that I only buy things that fit and I am not distracted by the low prices when they're ill-fitting. Well that is the end of my rant.

And Corn Cobs!
I actually wore the aforementioned outfit to class. I opted for my patent leather maryjanes because rain was predicted. You should be proud of lil ole me dwar reader. Today I wore a stripey 3/4 length shirt from high school. The shirt has thin horizontal stripes in black, blue, gray and light blue. I have realized that alot of my clothes are either, blue, gray or pink. Blue because it was my high school's colors and we were allowed to "dress down" out of uniform occasionally before important games and for honor roll. But on some of those dress down days we had to wear the school colors. I have no idea why I have an affinity for gray shirts but at some point it became my goto neutral. One of the many mysteries of life I suppose. Pink is in my wardrobe because beneath the jeans and chucks I am truly a girly girl.
Now back to what I wore today! I wore another pair of LEI jeans and my blue plaid ballet flats from Payless and gold hoops. I picked up a cameo necklace on a blue background from Value Village and I wore it today. I am not sure what I am wearing to class tomorrow but I can tell you that tomorrow evening I will be dressing up for Happy Hour. I will be wearing a black skirt with white stitching. I am not really sure how to explain the design but it's pretty and from H&M via Value Village. I will be pairing it with a white shirt and my pink pumps also from Payless. At some point tonight I will check the weather report to figure out what to wear to class. Maybe I'll post again tonight or just share the outfit with you tomorrow. Lator Gator!!!! I'm off to watch SVU!

Hey Kids, It's an Update!!
Hello Blogosphere.
I am sure no one is reading my wee little blog but I need the escape. My life has been super hellacious and damn near everything that could go wrong has and will continue. So I'm thinking, why not update again and distract myself. :-) I have no idea what the weather has in store for tomorrow but I am thinking about wearing my dirtyish denim jeans and my sweater that is striped in different shades of blue with my blue plaid ballet flats. I bought some new hammered metal silver hoops from Wally World on Black Friday no less and I look forward to trying out the puppies. I am even planning on wearing some make-up tomorrow which will be my MAC studio fix foundation, some eyeshadow and the mascara that comes in the pink bottle with the green top. The name escapes me and it's in another room aaaaaannnnnd I am too lazy to retrieve it. I believe that is all I have to share.

Sooo a Lil' Bit More About Me
If you have checked out the slideshow below, I am sure you have noticed a few things. I am not a fan of taking pictures alone...I feel weird and awkward. I was able to crop some people out but I got lazy so you can see some of my homies in addition to moi. I also love squirrels a lot. I always have. I dream of one day being the squirrel whisperer. It's snowing and I will more than likely be loafing around my apartment watching tv and possibly doing some work. I believe that is all I have to say for now. Oh and I will be in my usual sitting around outfit...sweatpants and a tshirt.

I'm sorry...so sorry
Well loyal reader I am sure you have noticed my long absence. But this random DC cold and having to walk to class has forced me to *gasp* revert back to my old chuck wearing days. I am at least trying to wear earrings which for me is no small feat. I am trying to figure out how to make a slideshow so that you can see a few of my attempts to look cute. I swear to you I will blog more when it's Spring. I am a Spring baby after all and I love everything about spring...except the pollen.

I'm Slippin I'm fallin/ I gots to get up
Wee little quote from DMX one of my fav rappers despite the crack. So I was told by my loyal reader that I was slipping but I didn't really go anywhere since Sunday. I did in fact wear the outfit I described to "Stomp" which was pretty darn good, despite the loud chewing children behind me. Rarrrr. I didn't go anywhere really on Monday except to run some errands and I wore the silver hoops, jeans, a coral colored v-neck shirt with a built-in lacy cami....a two-fer if you will, and my houndstooth flats. Today I wore my squares, light wash jeans, a multi-colored striped button up under my gray cable knit sweater and my black chucks. It was cold as crap today and I'm pretty sure my little ears were all red. :-( How can I not wear a coat one day and have to break out the winter coat, scarf and gloves the next!!!! It just isn't right I tell you what. sorry I blacked out for a second and thought I was Hank Hill with a tshirt tan. Ok that is all folks!!!! Watch American Idol!!!!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
I just found out that I will be going to see "Stomp" at the Warner Theatre with my sister. Should be fun because I never turn down a opportunity to go to the theatre, darling. I have no idea what to wear but I'm thinking my black sailor pants from NY & Company, a sweater of some sort, my square silver hoops or squares as a friend calls them, and my leopard flats. i figure the flats are dressy enough for the theatre and easy to wear on the Metro. There will undoubtedly be an update either tonight or tomorrow about what I wore as well as a reviewish of the show.

Recovering..
Not really but I had an "awesome time, had awesome drinks, listened to awesome music, and just soaked up each others awesomeness." I love Mean Girls. I actually wore the outfit I described in my last post and I am pretty darn proud of myself. I wore my new patent leather flats and my tootsies thanked me for it. I will probaby be sitting around my apartment all day cleaning or more than likely watching TV. Sooo sweatpants would be totally acceptable. woot.

It's Friday Nite and the Weekend's here!
Today I took a little trip to the mall with some friends. I had NY & Company and Wet Seal gift cards. So I picked up a few new accessories which I hope will help me in my mission, my fashion journey. I wore my leaopard print flats, gray striped hoodie, jeans and a pink tank top. As usual I wore some silver hoops. Tonite my lovely lady friends and I will be hitting up the club! And I must say we are all quite cute and fabulous. I'm planning to wear a lowcut thin knit short sleeve sweater, dark denim jeans and flats. Which flats is still up in the air. so we shall see!!! :-)

oooohhhh yea!
Well, well, well...wouldn't you know I actually wore the outfit I planned. I am as shocked as you are loyal reader(s). I must say putting my intended outfit out the night before makes my mornings much smoother. Now if I could only avoid the snooze button.... Tomorrow there is a chance of rain. But that has been the forecast all week and I have yet to actually use my new bright pink umbrella. Not that I'm jinxing it or anything just merely pointing it out. I only enjoy rain for a healthy distance inside with no wet pants. Which lead me to my next point...wet pants. I suppose I could buy rain boots but I have already mentioned my poverty and I also have an aversion to shipping and handling fees. So I just deal with the annoying wet jeans and pruny ankles. yarf! Well I don't have to wake up early tomorrow so I'll have time to post in the morning. "Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow."

There must be some Toros in the atmosphere
Hello loyal reader(s) and S. Dot! Last nite I decided to lay out the clothes I planned to wear, which made the early morning a whole lot easier to handle. I'm thinking I shall do the same tonight. It will be chilly yet again tomorrow and the trailer/classroom seems to take hold of the chill and never let go. Like the women at the Filene's Basement wedding dress sale. I miss Filene's basement...but that is neither here nor there. I feel as though I've worn enough sweaters for the week so I'm going to try my hand at layering. I'm planning to wear my blue polo shirt with the cute pink butterfly emblem, a white long sleeve shirt underneath, my pink JLO hoops, long beaded necklace with different shades of pink beads sprinkled with a few silver beads, my black maryjanes flats from my catholic school girl days and some jeans *ones I havent worn this week I promise*. As usual, we'll see if I follow through but I've been doing super well. Thanks S. Dot!

Passing by Exit 1
I did in fact wear the outfit I described loyal reader(s). However I decided to go with my short silver necklace with a white square stone charm. In my attempt to find pics of the articles of clothing I describe, I always lose interest and can never find a darn picture. So that makes me think, is what I'm wearing so not cool that i can't find the pictures? I'm pretty sure that's not the case because I feel I've looked pretty darn snazzy thus far in the 07. Yes, I know it has only been 9 days, don't judge me. :-). Tomorrow however, I feel I could fall off the fashion horse because I have to wake up at an ungodly hour. 6:50*ish*AM!!! And for that reason, I might end up in sweats and chucks. But I am hoping I don't fall back into my "picking out the clean clothes who cares what it looks like" rut. I will be helping a friend in her super chilly classroom all day, so I'm thinking it will definitely be some sort of sweater and jeans combo, just like the other days. But i swear they're cute sweaters and different pairs of jeans, I swear girl scout's honor. After running through what I can remember of my clothes in my head, I've decided to with my white Blondie fitted tee, dark wash jeans, a fitted hoody that has stripes of two shades of gray,my sparkly pink chucks and silver hoops. I'll post sometime in the late afternoon and we'll see what I actually ended up wearing. ;-)
And So It Continues
Some of my friends think I am crazy to have this blog but so far I'm loving it. The weather here in the DC area has been crazy and I'm really not sure what to wear. I'm thinking blue striped v-neck sweater. The stripes are two different shades of blue and white stripes, my medium wash jeans, black maryjane flats, silver hoops and black beaded necklace. I guess that'll do. I'm off to get ready for work *sigh*.

Hmmmm...
Ok so here's the thing...my camera indeed hates me...lots. And I do not have the money to get it fixed or to buy a new one. So I will try in earnest to con friends into taking pics of me. At any rate, today I plan to wear my Black cowl *perhaps* neck sweater, jeans and my Houndstooth flats. Possible some silver jewelry and a bracelet I got in Scituate, MA ages ago. Considering I have not yet showered, if I wear any of this is up in the air, but that's my plan for now.
PS Clearly this blog is purely for my own benefit, for no one else will be reading it. :-)*

Who's That Girl?!
I guess I'll that this opportunity to tell you, phantom reader, a little about me. I am a college student from Massachusetts (yay for New England) but I currently reside near our Nation's capital. I have never really been a clothes person and my fashion puberty was stunted by a little institution called catholic high school and uniforms, though I was an avid Seventeen reader for God only knows how long. When I came to college, I had to buy an entire wardrobe of clothes and jeans and chucks were looking mighty fine to me. On campus I always looked longingly at the fashionable girls and wished I could dress more like them. The few kinks in my plan are my poverty and inability to be creative. Lately I have become damn near if not definitely obsessed with fashion blogs, as I check them several times a day. These ladies are awesome and have inspired me to attempt to become more stylish or at the very least talk about my feeble attempts and rants. Also, until I am able to figure out what the heck is wrong with my camera I will describe the outfits or attempt to find pics. And in the words of Racheal Ray "Enjoy."
